When does 'Next Friday' and 'Friday After Next' take place?

I know that Friday is in 1995, but is Next Friday and Friday After Next in 1995 too? If so...

Next Friday
Then how come Day-Day says that Baby D talks about the year 2000 snacks? If it's in 1995 why would he choose such a long time from now? But if it does take place in 1999, how come it takes Willie 4 years to kick out Craig when he ain't got a job?

Friday After Next
Then how come Money Mike mentions a palm piolt when it's 1995? I don't remember there even being *beep* like that around back then.

But it don't really matter, i was just wondering.

OK you are taking the titles of these movies too serious. The first movie is Friday the second movie is next Friday they just call it that instead of saying Friday part 2 the movie after that if Friday after next which means Friday three. Get it? because its the Friday movie that came out after the privious movie next Friday. Which would make it the Friday after next (Friday)

Exactly, because in Next Friday, Day-Day has a poster of the Player's Club, which came to theaters in 1998. In Friday After Next, that boy asked for an Xbox for Xmas, Xbox didn't even exist in 1995, not to mention no idea was made. Let's not forget that FAF took place around Xmas time, which the first 2 Fridays didn't seem to take place in December at all.

y do u ask such a stupid question. Life is usually better if u just shut up. They are just movie titles. They were filmed a couple of years apart (1 or 2).

Friday After Next takes place one year after Next Friday. Next Friday, I think, takes place four years after Friday. Now that I'm not positive on.
