I didn't watched it yet. It has a very high rating. But is this really a good movie or like a silly movie like 'dumb and dumber', 'a guy thing' and 'anger management'. Does this movie really deserve to have a rating of 8.2?
shareit's silly for the first half and very serious for the 2nd... especially the fantasy scenes can be a little out there but they're definitely not a dominating part of the movie.
and yes, it deserves all the praise it has been given.
the remake not so much.
it is quite silly. the original blog is really fun to read but the movie is clishéd. (it could have been much better if they had just followed the true story without hollywood-like dramatizations)

One of the best Korean romantic movies out there...on second thought, one of the best romantic movies out there.
I started watching it at first and gave up a few minutes into it, BIG MISTAKE, because I came back to watch a while after and wished I had seen it sooner. Really pretty movie, and like others said, it has it's funny parts, it's silly parts in a funny way, but overall it's a very beautiful and touching story.
