She grew up, moved to the US, became an established actor, and eventually joined her father in coming out of the closet. Currently she's doing a documentary series on LGBTQ culture in various countries around the world.

That's more info on Ellen Page than I was aware of, thanks! But I was actually referring to the character. That's never explained. She just disappeared. Unless I missed something...

How time flies. Actually she's a he now and isn't gay, she, or he, is straight, and googling for Trina on Trailer Park Boys is weird now, as all websites claim Trina was portrayed by a male actor.

Trina never came back. The little we saw of her in TPB was it.
