I don't rate the wolverine films
A little controversial in places? I would say a lot. Compare your list to the IMDb scores and you'll find it's a lot different to what most people would consider from worst to best. I suspect most people will have Deadpool, X2, X Men and First Class above most if not all other X-Men movies.

My personal favorite is Logan. Its "R" rating worked to its advantage both in the presentation of the character Logan and the demonstration of what adamantium claws could really do.

Damn right the later installments are my favorites (and I don’t think the first film or even the sequel touch some of these installments). And yes, I’ve been a fan of the franchise since the first film (love me some X2), but despite all the misses, the franchise evolved and it did deliver some far superior films.
