SPOILERS!!!!!!
So I read Winds of Dune and I'm a little confusing. It has Shaddam IV in it.
I thought he died earlier. I know he died in this miniseries and I thought when I read Messiah that he died it. And I looked at some dune site and said he died before Messiah? Someone help!
There was that uncomfortable council meeting, in Messiah, where Paul was telling Irulan to warn her father about putting his Sardukar through certain maneuvers. So he was alive then. I believe he died sometime between the end of Messiah and the beginning of Children of Dune because Wensicia was acting has head of the family in Farad'n's stead which she would not have been able to do so had Shaddam been alive.
