When the sandworm rises up to swallow their 'thopter, she says what sounds like a Fremen blessing - "bilai khifer"? Something along those lines.

Is this from the novels or just an invention of the miniseries? If the former, anyone know the meaning?

It's in response to what Leto says.

"Bi-lal kaifa" is basically the Fremen equivalent of "Amen."
