Glynnis & Clarissa had horrible lines
They did wonderful writing for all the characters except these two. I just have a hard time believing they would never have any kind of comeback than 'hmph' or 'mother' when they're shown up by Daphne shows them up.
And why does Clarissa, Henry's soon-to-be step-daughter, allowed to make comments about his previous sex life. I could see Glynnis making those kinds of comments, but not her.
This movie is a actually one my guilty pleasures. I just enjoy it. But I do think they missed out on some opportunities when they fell back on stereotypical non-responses rather than really giving these two characters some clever dialogue.
