The phone
When David calls Bruce to tell him about sending the dogs after Betty, was the phone Bruce found in the couch one he simply misplaced, or did David PLANT the phone there? When Bruce found it he looked surprised, like he'd never seen it before. Did David perhaps break into Bruce's home and plant that phone so he'd have a way of contacting Bruce on a secure line, in case the normal phone was tapped?
