The Death Of David Banner

I never liked his supposed death nor got it. He got stronger and stronger by radioactivity and molecule power absorbing all its energies and adapting it to whatever he pleases but when they drop an atomic bomb not only does he die( according to wikipedia) but the Hulk gets weaker and knocked out who also becomes strong with radioactivity. That never made sense to me and nor did I like David's death who I considered a likable and strong character.

David was likable? He was a monster! He tested a dangerous formula on his 3 year old son. He murdered his own wife. He later tried to kill his son's girlfriend for no good reason. He called his own son a pathetic excuse of human trash for not liking the curse of turning into an angry green monster. He was a scumbag. I really don't get how you could find him likable.

I dont remember the test scene but you have to look at from a scientist perspective. They all test on everything and these test make miracles. If you forgot he also got the experiment on him though if I recall it was accidental. But he was proud of his creation. He created the hulk and himself. Two of the greatest invention ever made. The entire military couldnt take down the hulk. When David killed his wife it was also accidental. Murdered wouldn't be the right word.
When He tried to "kill" Betty to me it was obvious he did that to test the hulk. To keep him in shape because if you dont train these beasts they get out of shape. Though you might not like this David tried to nurse Bruce's anger to hone his Hulk. That was to me the obvious reason he sent the dogs. Not to kill Betty but to anger the Hulk and keep his anger in check. Though you might not agree with this. Anything really successful in life is accomplished through anger, determination, fought for. David was trying to instill this into his son. You might not agree with this but scientist are very smart people. If not the smartest in the world. He's not flawless, obviously. He obviously wanted what was best for his son and he saw his inner soft sentiment as a weakness for life and how can he not? He himself had witness life's brutality. They treated him like crap. He wanted his son to be strong, muscular, and dominant. When he called his son pathetic he meant his inner insecurity as a weakness to be taken advantage from the world. He wanted him to be a strong force like the Hulk and like he himself ultimately was. Though you might call it a curse, I beg the differ the entire world would wish to have such godle powers. If Bruce didnt approve why did he himself continue to call on the hulk continuously till the end when he was in the jungle?

You are a crazy insane person for finding him sympathetic imo.

Thank you for the compliment.

Watching it right now and The Hulk didnt test the formula on his three year old son. I hadnt remembered that scene. He tested it on himself and transferred through DNA. He also warned Bruce about sending the dogs. Had he wanted her dead he had plenty of chances to do so.

Watch the beginning again. It clearly shows him injecting 3 year old Bruce with the serum.

Saw the movie and I'm pretty sure it was inherited. It was mentioned several times.

Plot
During the 1960s, Scientist David Banner has the idea to forge super soldiers by introducing modified DNA sequences extracted from various animals to strengthen the human cellular response, but General Thaddeus Ross denies him permission to use human subjects, considering it dangerous and stupid. Banner subsequently conducts the experiments on himself. After the birth of his son Bruce, he finds that his son may have inherited the effects and seeks a cure, but is stopped in the process by a furious Ross who'd found out about the secret work.

I may have remembered wrong. But I still don't find him sympathetic.
