I can't believe I went to the cinema to see this trash! Just the fact this pathetic excuse for a film even became popular in the US is enough to tell me that Indians will watch and overhype any crap featuring them. Angry, strict, traditional Asian parents vs rebellious kid, we get it already! It's been done to death in East is East, The Buddha of Suburbia and Bhaji On The Beach as well as a myriad of TV shows.

It's a low-budget film. Though there are a lot of faults in hindsight. But it's okay if you don't like it. It's not for everyone, I guess.
In the end, it's the same old rom-com but in a specific setting. The follow-through wasn't perfect.
I watched it on TV. Had I paid to watch it in a cinema, I would have not felt ripped off.
