No offence, but honestly, what did Sharon really see in Alden? Sure, he was sweet and nice, but nothing else than that. He was rarely (or never) funny or charismatic. I'm not saying this because I disliked the character, but I didn't thought he was a funny boyfriend enough for Sharon - or Nina Harper, for that matter.

I remember one episode when Sharon was in camp and she and Maria flirted with a guy, then Alden came visiting and Sharon (her inner, narrating voice, if you remember) said that she thought Alden was boring compared to the other guy (which turned out to be a self-loving liar).

I dont know what she saw in him really.. sweet and nice is only good for so long lol.
There wasnt any chemistry :P

We all know what Sharon was going through in the episode, Dear Alden. Trying to cope with Alden's friendship with Tess and trying to cope with breaking up with him.
