I was thinking about watching this showband was wondering why the last season episodes are worse than the others. Does it have a bad ending?
shareNo season 9 is just stupid. The jokes aren't as funny as the other seasons, the stories are dumb, and the characters are rather bland and one dimensional, with the exception of Cole. The first 8 seasons are truly great and the finale of season 8 is the best tv series finales I've seen.
shareSeason 9 wasn't as good as the other 8, but that's because it's basically an entirely new show with a few reoccurring characters from the previous seasons.
Season 8 ends as a series finale, with flash forwards to the future of some characters. You could easily stop watching there and be very happy with the ending.
It seems to me that season 9 was an afterthought. The creator of the show had an idea for a spinoff (that never happened) and created a season 9 just to promote it.
Nah, he wanted season 9 to be a spin-off but the network refused to instead of being Scrubs : Med School season 1 it was Scrubs season 9
