Remember how Jordan's brother died in 3x14? Am I wrong to feel that it is weird that the brother had a heart attack seemingly out of no where? (I know I'm a little late, but I am just nor getting into Scrubs.) I knew it was him that died the minute JD came to tell Cox, but I kept 2nd guessing myself because he had Cancer; not a heart condition.
shareHe not only had cancer, but he'd also neglected to check on his cancer for like 2 years. He was supposed to get tested on that same day and happened to die likely before his tests.
Basically for all we know, it was probably complications due to cancer. It'd spread in some way that probably affected other bodily functions and caused his heart attack.
Entirely due to the fact that he failed to keep up to date on his condition, though.

I don't recall JD saying he had a heart attack. I believe JD said he went into cardiac arrest, which simply means he died. His heart stopped beating.
