How could she stand being around him??? All he did in every episode he was in was to whine and whine and worst of all, just not shutting up talking *beep* about her father. I get it, you don't like him. But show some respect in front of your girlfriend!
His character was infinitely annoying. Why did they pair her up with such a parrot moron?
I didn´t mind him but he was sort of "meh". But to be fair, if your girlfriend came with "a nuclear bomb is about to explode" story, I would be a bit doubtful (Well, boyfriend in my case :) ) I don´t remember him having problems with Jack but I can imagine Kim told him about the problems she had with her dad, about death of her mother so no wonder he was a bit one sided here.
Also, he lost his leg because of her. I would be mad, too.
I always thought it was a big symbolic - Kim´s adventures were a bit silly in season 2 but I just could feel the Bauer DNA in her. She left an incredible collateral damage behind her, just like her father. Even without her knowing. What a family.
