The only other time I've heard it was Gene Hackman in Superman IV. Never bothered me really I guess just some people have different pronounciations. It's like saying Adult with a long a or short a.

Accentuation is a different thing. "Nukilar" is, simply, incorrect.

Half the country pronounces it "nucular". Just like "jewlery" instead of "jewelry", or "supprise" instead of "surprise".
