Somthing depressing

I remember when I was young, I hoped so much that the Care Bears were real, when life was unbearable (pardon the pun) they could make me feel better. I grew up and obviously reaslised they wern't but that would be kind of cool?

Funny you should mention this. A month ago I was thinking of writing an Onion-style story where the Us government recruited the Care Bears to help them fight the war in Iraq and Afghanistan. If there's anything that could stop gun-wielding 'evil-doers,' it'd be the 'Care Bear Stare.'

One magazine I have even made a joke saying 'Their Care Bear Stare will hunt you down to the ends of the Earth.'

Same thing here. The main reason that I cried the day I realised that cartoons weren't real is because it meant that I would never meet the Care Bears. I hope my kid ends up loving them as much as I do.
