how Care Bears have changed from before

Growing up the Care Bears were my absolute favorite. So I was happy to see they brought them back for kids today. Except why did they change them? Share Bear used to have an ice cream float with straws as her symbol and now they're lollipops, Funshine originally was a girl and now they've made her a boy (which seriously pisses me off) and Champ Bear was always orange and now he's blue. Has anyone else noticed this? Why change what works, especially to change it in such a dumb way!

hello there :) care bears were my fav too i dont like how they have changed the bears but i read on the internet that this is the 25th year anniversary and they are releas\ing a 25th ann dvd today along with the original series and some special edition care bears later this year that will be replicas of the orginal ones so there is hope :)
