shareThe proud owner of the globe that was actually used in "A Nero Wolfe Mystery" reports that there's no indication of who manufactured it:

He was fortunate enough to see the globe in Wolfe's office in March 2002, when he was part of a group invited to spend a day with the cast and crew of the A&E series as they filmed "The Silent Speaker." When the show was cancelled, the "Nero Wolfe" production team went to extraordinary lengths to see that fans of the show had first crack at purchasing its props, costumes and furnishings through an auction on the A&E discussion board. Many of those items are in homes where they are treasured.
This gentleman was lucky enough to win the globe in that pre-sale auction. He then had the fun of figuring out how he was going to get that 35-inch behemoth into his house. On his site you can see a nice shot of the globe on the set (in the "Wolfe's Office" section), and there are also photos of the delivery of the globe at his home a few months later.
I have a Replogle globe that is much smaller than Nero Wolfe's, but it is beautiful. There's helpful information about globes on the Replogle site:

Thank you so much for that charming story. As one who never cared that much for the books but have loved the series, it brings tears to my eyes. How lovely that the cast and crew valued their fans and tried in some way to repay and reward their loyalty.
