I'm glad this movie was made....
Okay, I first have to ask how a movie like this ever got made. Seriously, how does a movie studio decide they're going to back something like this??? I can just see somebody reading the script and thinking, "Hmmm, some x-treme snowboarder types making a commercial end up running from a Serbian war criminal. That's a great idea!" I'm sure most of you know the basic idea of this movie, so I'll just get to my main point which is, I actually liked having seen this movie. I laughed my ass of the entire time it was on. Let's start with the so called stunts. The best part was the guy riding the skateboard on the train. Please!!! Whenever he ollies, he kind of floats for a little bit, making it painfully obvious it's not real. Then there was the whole scene with them snowboarding off of the roof and grinding the bar below, breaking the beer mugs. The plot is equally laughable. The whole subplot of Chloe dealing with the emotional stress of her shortcomings in extreme skiing compared to her gold metal in regular downhill and how she comes to terms with it and overcomes. Ha ha!!! LMAO!! I think we were supposed to actually feel sorry for her or something. The rest of the plot is just a blur. The whole thing with the Serbian war criminal made no sense at all. I won't go too long, but I just want to say to all those who get mad about negative comments, you have to accept that this is a place for people to express their views. I didn't like the movie and I'm free to say so, just as you are free to say your opinion. Remember this is a site for REVIEWS (key word). To sum up my thoughts, I'd have to say that just because I didn't like this movie, I still have to recommend it to anybody who wants to have a good laugh.
