Did people really believe in a God back then?
Looks like the same hypocrisy as depicted today but somehow it's acted as if there was a real believe in the hocus pocus. Must be typical for the era.

shareThere are no atheists in foxholes.
shareWhere do morons like you come up with bullshit like that which isn't true? It's just a tactic by stupid retarded Christians to try and convert atheists, because there is no evidence to support it.
sharewow so aggressive! moron!stupid! retarded!
You 3 combo in there in just on sentence !
He might not even be one of the christians you seem to hate with a burning passion.
It was a perfectly valid comment that could have been made a believer , a non beliver , or an "agnostic"

...and until you've been a comparable situation you dont know if even you would throw your easy life armchair logic out of the window and start praying.
Im not trying to convert you or promote god btw , i don not believe in god.
It's actually true. People in those situations do suddenly become religious. And is it really so hard to understand why?
shareIt's not hard to understand at all. But the idea that it applies to everyone is not backed up by any definitive proof. Then again, religious people don't have much proof for any of their claims, really.
shareThe way you feel about the past is the way the future will feel about you (and your beliefs).
