Why Is This The Most Historically Inaccurate Vietnam War Film?

I mean really. Are people gullible enough to believe a U.S. Army Unit made a massed Infantry Bayonet Change in Vietnam? LOL!

And that's only one of the glaring inaccuracies of this film.

How about they skipped the fact the Unit that was sent to relieve them was chopped up badly by the Vietnamese?

reply

Cuz it wasn't led by Mel Gibson's character? Anyway, that was a different NVA regiment. AND a third NVA regiment was still recovering from it's role in the siege of the Plei Me Special forces camp.

Another dim-witted OP who apparently really wanted to watch a documentary.🐭

Well then...IF it's not a documentary & we have dramatic license, then so what if they gloss over the fate of the other battalion since it wasn't under Moore's command?

Try reading the book upon which the film is based.

I vote "Platoon" for that title.
