Nani is so underrated and deserves more credit.

Let's be real. Nani was the real MVP and one of the greatest big sisters ever to appear on Disney.

- Most young adults Nani's age are in college, partying, drinking, dating, and going out with friends,
But Nani had to quickly grow up, work at a minimum wage job to care for her 7-year-old sister alone becuase their parents are dead and no one else was helping them.

- She was very fearful of Lilo being taken away since she's the only family member she has and feels it's HER duty to care and look out for Lilo.

- Lilo even mentions that she likes Nani better as a sister than a mom. And that gets me everytime. Imagine how hard it is to have to be a "mother" to your younger siblings.

It's very easy to see why Nani gets frustrated and tired at times.
