Why did Disney cut out this part?

When Nani tries to "capture" Lilo?
Do they think it's going to give kids
ideas to "hide in the dryer" when they're in trouble?

That's BS.

Was that cut on T.V.? Hang on. It's on again right now. Let me check.

Edit: Well, what do ya know! They did! WTF?? D:

Next they'll cut out Lilo punching Myrtle, or Stitch knocking Myrtle off her big-wheel.

Besides, it could be worse- Lilo could have hid in the fridge.

Might have been cut for time.

I think that European law covers everything with a seal on it, fridges, freezers, washers, dryers and so on. It's a bit like the US networks where they won't let you show weapons that fire bullets or conventional shells so they either airbrush handguns etc to be lasers, or they insist that animation made for them uses lasers. It's why cartoons like Gash Bell (Zach Bell in the US) and one Piece have them using silly looking weapons. When they were originally drawn they had realistic looking pistols and rifles.

In Europe they airbrushed the scene. The dryer door is edited to look like an old Pizza box which she hides behind.

I tried to hide in the dryer one time.
I broke the dryer door off.
Could not sit down after that.
