Maybe this is the wrong terminology, but I JUST realized that Lilo asks Nani "WHY DO YOU HAVE TO ACT SO WIERD!?!" but that is just what her classmates say to her all the time. Do you think her reaction has something to do with the way her "friends" treat her?

Because she's always the "weird" one, she feels the need to call someone else weird. It's part of her way of dealing with things.
