Stitch's Obscenities

Am I the only one who *thought* I heard Stitch say, "Suck my c*ck!" when you first see him emerge from the crashed ship on earth?

Has anyone else noticed any other of Stitch's alien jabberings sounding like something bad in English?

It was probably a misunderstanding, I don't think the Disney company would want to put something like that in there...although I admit, I do get confused with Stitch's language. I think I'd like to learn it!

reply

Well, the Disney company has been known to put some weird stuff in the nooks and crannies of their movies...

I never noticed that! The word 'sex' is clearly written in the stars in The Lion King though and there's a (real, not cartoon) naked poster of a woman in the background of one of the Rescuer films. You can see the stills on www.snopes.com :)

Being that Stitch is both created by and directed by and voiced by the same guy, the brilliant Chris Sanders, I don't think he would have had Stitch say anything obscene (other than in alien talk) to jeopardize his own success in Disney Feature Animation.

Chris designed most of the characters and the whole look of the film. He also directed animation for the feature Mulan, which is why the poster of Mulan is hanging in Lilo's sister's room.

thats not the word "SEX" that you see in lion king. its "SFX" it says in the lion king trivia

reply

I suggest you go to the "trivia" section of The Lion King here on imdB or look on wikipedia, because the word "sex" is actually the initialls "SFX" which are a tribute to... something. Forgot.

No explanation for naked lady, though wikipedia does have some interesting theories.

SFX is short for "sound effects," so I read on Snopes.com, I believe. I think SFX is what the sound department used to make sound effects in The Lion King.

"This is good... Isn't it?"

reply

SFX is short for Special Effects.

And Lilo and Stitch is by far the most politically incorrect movie ever from Disney so even without the imagined obscenities, it's still pretty hardcore for Disney. Like the part where Stitch rubs his ass on the ship's window lmao

Funny you should say that.

In the Chinese sub they actually subtitle one of stitches comment that has no English meaning. He says something like, drop dead in the subtitles, they put this in(or so I believe) because what he says sounds a lot like a Chinese obsenity.

I hadn't noticed what you are saying though.

Stitch actually screams, "Chu cha, chubaka! Non chigee! Ahahaha!".

reply

You can go to DisneyChannel.com and click on Stitch. There's a plcae that shows what his 'words' mean. 'Meega Nala Kweesta' means something like 'Your'e goin' down!'

reply

xD I highly doubt that's what he was *really* saying.

In Alladin (not on the dvd) you can just barely hear Alladin say " Good Kitty, Good Kitty, Good teenagers take off their clothes", in the balcony scene. But wen is there a naked woman in the sand in the lion king?

Yes, I make spelling mistakes often as a result of using IMDB on mobile devices :)

reply

I no what you mean I am still trying to get those images out of my mined.

reply

I didn't notice any "suck my cock", but I did think I heard two other things, both of which were obscene words. I didn't think it was important enough to remember, unfortunately, and now I'm regretting it!
