Lilo and Chihiro comparison

When I saw Spirited Away a was amazed how much of Lilo was in Chihiro. They are both Daveigh Chase but for Lilo & Stitch they used Daveigh’s mannerisms and put them in Lilo, but for Chihiro the movie was all dun and her only had her voice, but even in the animation I saw a lot of Lilo’s qualities. Any one else see this or am I crazy?

They are alike, I thought that too. But it would be the other way around: there is much of Chihiro in Lilo, Sen to Chihiro no Kamikakushi is from 2001.
