The bottom line is if you leave your younger siblings alone and unattended, they get hurt and you have to fight the system like Nani almost did with Lilo, not worth it..get a babysitter or take your younger siblings with you..lesson learned...

Yeah, tell that to all the parents who have to work when their kids are out of school. Ever heard of a latch-key kid? It seems like Nani isn't highly-skilled, so she probably can't get a job that will let her pay a babysitter. I'm not saying that it's okay to leave kids unattended, I'm just saying it's an unfortunate situation that some people are in.
