Don't get me wrong; I KNOW what I'm getting into. This is IMDB (or maybe just the internet as a whole) and the #1 rule is that everything is always racist.
But I want to know if any Polynesians had a problem with this movie. I'm not asking to argue with anyone, so don't expect me to. I just really want, nay, NEED to know.
I'm not Polynesian, but I don't understand why you would think that this movie is racist in any way. Why would Polynesians have any problem with this movie? They are not presented in any bad light, most of the voices are done by Hawaiian natives or people born there, there aren't any other races which are shown as being superior to the native Hawaiians. So what scene/aspect of this movie did you find racist?
