What did you rate ''Lilo and Stitch'' (2002)?

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0275847/ratings

This off-the-wall and aggressively weird animated comedy is funny and touching. The plot becomes too wacky for its own good toward the end, and one or two moments feel manipulative; but mainly it's a happy experience.

I rated this film 8/10. What did you rate the film? What did you think of it?

I also gave it an 8 out of 10, but I think that reflects more on what we expect to be a good movie, and what IS a good movie.

I would be hard pressed to find a movie I actually prefer to watch over Lilo and Stitch. (Maybe Treasure Planet)
So why give it less than a ten? Or at LEAST a nine? Simply because I can imagine a better movie. I can imagine THIS movie being better. I can imagine a premise I would prefer.
But to be honest, there is little that is better.

I gave it a 10 out of 10 because it's my favorite movie of all time. I used to save the 10/10 rating for a perfect movie, but finally realized there is no such thing and probably won't be in my lifetime. I was just wasting a rating. I would actually like a -100 to +100 rating system. Not that I could utilize all 201 categories, but I certainly can distinguish a difference in my top ten or more movies, so on the site where they allow you to rate 0 to 100, I have my top ten or so movies spread through 90 to 98. That leaves me 99 and 100 for a near perfect and perfect movie should they ever come along. Lilo & Stitch on that site gets my highest rating of 98.

As for what I think of it, it fits my personality extremely well. I find more humor, more wonderful positive emotions, and more joy than in any other of the 3000 movies I've seen.

A solid 10/10. My favorite movie of all time.

The ending is the most emotional experience I've had in any movie. I love movies about family and friendship, and Stitch's speech about this broken but good family he found moves me to tears even as I write this.

I rated this film a 4/10. I just think it had no plot.

10/10. Easily my favorite Disney movie.

I loved every minute of it. It's one of the few movies that I can watch over and over again and never get tired of it. And I can say that it's one of the only movies that made me cry when I watched it in theaters. It just feels so different... It just isn't like any other Disney movie. That may not be the best reason, but it is why I love it :)

9/10. The animation is gorgeous, Stitch is the most awesome space alien ever, and the humor and wonderful character interaction make this my favorite Disney film of all.

7 out of 10. It is a good movie, I enjoyed it, but did not love it. I am not always a fan of Disney movies, many are so misogynistic that they are hard to watch, but this one is not nearly as bad as most of them, and the plot is pretty realistic, minus the alien. This is a decent story about family and love and loss, and it is done as well as a kids movie can be with such a dark back story.

To me a 7 is a film I like but did not like a lot, a passing grade, so to speak. A 6 is a movie that did not fulfill even my basic needs for a passable film. Anything less really sucked.

I should have it currently rated as an 8 if I remember correctly.
