They dont seem to be doing anything new, and havent done anything since 'The New Tomorrow'. Anyone got any ideas as to why this might be?

Nothing more then old reports posted on the web about RT. As I am sure your aware RT is retired and owns a winery. I did read where he was feed up with the whole film making business. As far as HD I have read nothing for years.

Yeah, The New Tommorrow was a bit of a failure but i used to love The Tribe.
Actually, no i wasnt aware that he was retired, thats a shame! They made a great team. It would be nice to think that HD might still get involved with a project sometime in the future.

I think they should do something similar based on the same premise...just modern and as much as i love New zealand...film it somewhere else. After all they own the rights to it. I know it wont be the same...but if it was popular it could also drum up a fanbase for the original Tribe and then things could go from there. The blood of Judas sounds like an interesting project.

I couldnt agree more with you wpcj-1... a 10 years on, would be cool, perhaps they could even focus on another group/country hit by the virus. The blood of judas book sounds good, maybe if it is as good as it sounds they will make that into a tv show.
