Jeremiah is indeed the "adult" version of The Tribe... in that it begins with exactly the same premise (all adults died of "plague", leaving only the kids) but doesn't begin its story until most of those kids are now 18+. So, Jeremiah is almost a sequel to the concept of The Tribe.
Jericho, I tried to like, but it was so braindead and tried too hard, IMO... it wanted to be Lost or X-Files with its conspiracies and mysteries, when the best parts of the show (again, IMO) were the post apocalypse survival elements. On the other hand, the "soap opera" tendencies of the show really reminds me of the more "soapy" aspects of The Tribe (it's the EOTWAWKI, nobody cares about your divorce!).
Survivors (the seventies ORIGINAL) is very, very awesome... it's easily the most "adult" version of the scenario (very, very dark at times) and is probably my favourite post apocalypse show. If I hadn't loved that show, I'd have never sought out The Tribe (despite having spotted it here on Aussie TV and wondered what it was!).
The remake of Survivors? Pretty poor, in my opinion, particularly compared to the original version. Too "politically correct" and "safe", often dull, and very unsubtle (with an even less subtle music score too... contrast the original which has NO music except the opening and ending titles ever).
But I'd definitely advise older fans of The Tribe (which is among the best kids shows I've ever seen) to seek out Survivors and Jeremiah especially. There are of course LOTS of movies on the same subject, too.
