At least the dvds are out. A few years ago, channel 5 were only showing an edited season 5 and nothing else, and the dvds were still not out. Grim times
But I agree, they do show some crap, and great shows like this are going to waste. More people would love it if they were given the chance to see it

I remember being a kid and the tribe being the only reason i got up early on a saturday and sunday.

They aren't in silly parts either. Each video is the full episode and all 5 series' are available and in full screen, and neatly organised.
I miss it greatly as well. I used to watch it on WAM all the time. A few months I watched the whole thing over again and I got so nostalgic. I wish they had done series 6 but oh well at least they episodes are online and on dvd

I loved watching The Tribe on WAM when I was younger.
My friends and I would have Tribal dress parties while watching it on tv.

So, someone else from USA that got the DVD set. Did you have any difficulty getting it to play on your DVD player or do you play it in your computer? I have a DVD player that plays DVD’s from all over the world. Got it at Walmart. share
I have a Pioneer DVD player that plays all region dvd's.
All the DVD Boxsets of The Tribe play well on my player with no problems yet.
It's good to rewatch The Tribe on DVD and it brings back such good memories back.

I miss it too, I've recently started watching S1 again. It's funny how when you grow up, you see the show with different eyes every time you watch it. It's also weird how when it was filmed, the cast were "older" to me but now we're sort of in the same age range (because in your teens every year makes a difference).
The problem I have is that I know S6 was in planning so that's why it feels like one of those relationships or friendships that are over, but things are left unsaid. You can't quite make your peace with it and when you're feeling nostalgic and looking at old pictures, your fingers are itching to pick up the phone and call the person to get a proper goodbye. The ending is a great one for the show altogether, but knowing it wasn't intended as the ending adds a bitter taste in my opinion.
I love how there are still fans out there and a bunch of sites still running with lots of updates, like Tribe Heaven. It's funny how I would normally roll my eyes at people who still try to get another season, a movie, a reunion, anything happening for "some tv show" but I feel with The Tribe it's something different. It's just a great show and I'm saying this as somebody who is not very easily impressed.
