Two actors that broke the 'no real relationship' rule?

I am curious to know; I have heard that two actors were fired for breaking the "no real relationship rule," who were they?

reply

I think it was the actors that played Cloe and Ved

This was posted earlier but I have reposted it for you here… there is a link below of the original thread.

You must be new to The Tribe so I’ll go easy on you ;)

Cloud 9 had a very strict rule about cast members dating and missing there roll calls (shooting schedule). Well, as the story goes, Cloe (Jaimee Kaire-Gataulu) and Ved (Dan Weekes-Hannah) were an off camera item as well as on camera. Again, as the story goes, one day of shooting Jaimee and Dan took off and went into town and blew off a shoot. This cost Cloud 9 thousands of dollars and a lost day of shooting. As a result Jaimee was fired instantly and Dan was fired shortly after that. The episode your referring to was the writers attempt to quickly write Cloe out of the show.

I hope I have answered your question on this matter. There are many others on this site that could explain it much better then I have.

All the best.

It does not sound like a wise decision on the part of Cloud 9.

Wait until the season is over, wait until the plot has been finished, THEN can the troublemakers.

Why should story quality suffer?

Why should the studio have to lose $20,000 just because the actors decided to frolic off and be idiots?

From a narrative viewpoint it wasn't the best decision, but they did the right thing in enforcing the rule.

18 seems a little young to be mayor. What were you, like, 12?

My guess would be that this wasn’t the first time they crossed the line, this was probably just a case of "one time to many". It’s nice to know why they left, their and many other characters sudden departure always seemed out of left field. Any info on the reasons why other characters mysteriously disappeared (at the time)? I know that “Bray” left because he wanted to and such, but most of the others are question marks to me.

The actresses who played Amber and Zandra were "Killed off" during the beginning of the second season due to school work or an important exam as I remembered.
