Surprised at how popular it is.

I remember watching this when i was waaaaaaaay young.

The last episode i remember watching...i think. It was when the kids found the origin of the virus(i think) I must have been about 12 or so when that came out.
After season 2 or 3? I lost interest in the show for more up to date tv series.

Coming here for the first time on these boards, im surprised at how many people like it.
Even here in Queensland, it has a very big following. Makes me wish i watched it more often now :D.

So what is it that makes you watch it over and over again?

Nostalgia mainly. I was a kid also when the show was on. Quite a long time ago... ;D
I just love it! The story, the characters... goodies AND the baddies. My fave is forever and always Lex. Duh! But the other original Mallrats like Bray, Amber, Tai San, Jack, Dal, Ebony have a special place in my heart even now. Also Patsy, Chloe, Ryan, KC-Casey :p, Trudy(ugh), Zandra and Salene (eventhough I always found her annoying and whiny)... did I forget someone? :D

And sure it had it's flaws and occasional bad writing and bad dialogue but the idea was really good and in the end it was... I don't know MAGICAL!
I guess that's childhood for ya, you want to go back there. Even if it is just for 25 minutes :D

This show was definitely better when I was younger. Watched it on dvd recently and was no where near as good as I used to think it was.

I found this show after I got a new cable box, which had more channels than my last one!

While channel surfing one day I came across this network called "WAM" that aired an episode from season 4 (to be specific, it was the episode after the technos dismantled a bomb that was meant for Ebony) and I was intrigued by the costumes and makeup. By this time, I was around 14 and I think the show was a few years old. It's a shame I didn't find it sooner but I'm glad I came across Wam as it opened me up to other teen dramas.

What makes me watch it again? A big part of it is the fashion actually. I'm more anti-fashion then fashionable so this gives me some idea to experiment. Also nostalgia

I was 8 years old when TT aired in Germany and I watched it from Day one. I loved all the characters, the good ones, the bad guys, the semi-bad guys;). No one was truly evil there and the good guys also had their flaws which made it pretty realistic. My favorite would be Amber, followed by Bray, Lex, Zoot, Ebony, Jack, Ellie (I only hated her when she was with Luke), Zandra and most of the other characters. Salene was the most annoying I guess but she had a lot to deal with, especially her bulimia. And Trudy was horrible at times, though I think Antonia Prebble was one of the better actresses. Speaking of acting, I agree it wasn't that impressing but most of them were barely 14 or even younger so I never bothered. I only noticed it now that I'm on a rewatch (i'm 18 years old now, still lovin it^^^), I always thought they were all brilliant when I was younger:P Beth Allen, CAleb Ross, Antonia Prebble and Dwayne Cameron were really good though :)

I watched this when it first came out and i was like really early teens. I used to stay at my nana's at the weekends and we'd watch it. I loved how it was all about these kids surviving without adults. A little while ago i bought the first season just out of nostalga but my little sister came in and started to watch it too, she really liked it and thought that it was really cool which is funny cause she's about the same age i was when i first watched it.I ended up buying all 5 boxsets so that she could watch it all the way through. Its just one of those shows that reminds you of your childhood really.
