so so many years later, i am almost 26 by now and to this day i have moments where i wonder what happened to those mallrats that just disappeared. MC in the cage, never to be heard of again etc etc.

from a behind-the-scenes point of view, were there budget cuts or something that required to get rid of half the cast?

I love The Tribe as well.. but this is definitely the show's main flaw, disappearing characters!!

Have you read the books? They explain what happens to the mallrats after series 5.
