Who would've rather had Cloe sent to the mines over patsy?

Season 3, Patsy gets sent to the mines by the Chosen but it was presumed she was killed by the Chosen. Then Season 4, there was a major storyline between Cloe and Ved.

IMO, The girl that played Patsy was a very talented actress and was more likable. Cloe was always annoying and immature.

I just wish they switched the storyline and Cloe was taken away and Patsy stayed and had the love story with Ved. Then they wouldn't have dated in real life, not shown up to work and gotten fired. Then if the rumors were true and Ved was going to be the "Mega" of season 5 and Patsy and Ved could've continued their Romeo and Juliet-esque storyline. Unless there was a reason the girl that played Patsy left show whether it was personal and professional... Any thoughts or opinions?

As far as I know it was a dispute between Sarah Major's agent and Cloud 9.
There were rumors in 2003/2004, though, that she had already signed a contract to come back in a season 6 that never happened. If that is true - who knows. There were so many rumors going around that noone could tell anymore what was true and what wasn't, as far as I know Raymund Thompson still claims that he's working on a Tribe-based movie or follow-up show, which will never see the light of day.

I don't think Cloe was annoying and immature until her series 4 ... which was on purpose for her storyline of growing up and entering a teenage rebel phase.
But in series 1-3 she was a nice person, animal lover, and was wise to Trudy's deception.
