I use to frequent the Lord of the Rings specific board, which MC thankfully transferred over here but nobody from the old board except myself made out alive.

It's really unfortunate that the IMDB boards were removed. There were so many enriching posts made throughout the years. The profundity of information was incredible.

When the boards went down I archived a couple of conversations that I really liked with good insights from whoever I was talking to. Yeah, IMDB wiping out their message boards is why I don't go back there. I get movie information (cast, production details, etc.) from wikipedia and I talk about movies here and I don't go to IMDB anymore.

I also removed my "like/follow" from their facebook page. If they don't want to engage with their community, I don't want to engage with them.
