USA Up All Night fans

Earlier this year I was at this convention called Monster Mania and some of the people from Troma were there. I got to meet Lloyd Kaufman, the president of Troma, and others. They said they really liked USA Up All Night since it was one of the few television programs that would air their movies. As it is, many of Troma's movies did air on USA Up All Night including the Toxic Avenger movies which are perhaps their biggest hit. They told me that USA Up All Night did not have a particularly large fan base, relatively speaking, not the kind of fan base that professional baseball or football would have, but that it had a cult following. So USA Up All Night did have its fans and I was one of them. It would be great to see USA Up All Night on the air again but in all reality I don't think its probable. Now days, people can watch just about all the movies on USA Up All Night on DVD or Blueray or even VHS. Some of their movies have not made it to DVD or Blueray and are only available on VHS, I know since I've had to dig up some of their movies on VHS, but with stuff such as EBay and Amazon, anybody can get the movies and watch them, so there is really no reason for USA Up All Night to be brought back on the air.

I have fond mememories of watching USA up all night. Watched some of the Troma movies on that. I'm still a fan of The Toxic Avenger to this day. I would like it if up all night would return.

Hey turbo monster USA UP ALL NIGHT is returning because Rhonda Shear has her own network on ROKU box. She will be airing the old episodes of USA UP ALL NIGHT and creating new episodes as well giving us original fans a choice on what we would like to watch. I just thought that I would let you know about this.

I have to be honest, I only like TROMA in the 70's and 80's when their movies had balls. Now, it appears Andy Kaufman turned into a feminist and always makes movies that bash men in them. The early films were wild and crazy with no political correction junk and I love them. "Lust For Freedom" and "Class Of Nuke 'Em High" are way better than "Tales from the Crapper", let's face it.
Andy, grow some balls again and return to making movies that defy the standard, I'm sure fans would love it.

Miss the old USA Network?

fistoffury I hate to say this, but USA UP ALL NIGHT is returning on Rhonda Shears TV Network on the ROKU box. Right now on her TV Network the media director just sent me a message that the old USA UP ALL NIGHT bumpers are being ran and new ones are being created. Since USA Network, G4, SPIKE TV, THIS TV, or any other network did not want to pick up USA UP ALL NIGHT Rhonda Shear created her own network. She will be airing the old original USA UP ALL NIGHT along with new episodes as well. It will be free to watch. So, it is coming back on once again and all of the films that we all loved to watch we will be able to watch them once again. The major networks lost out and Rhonda will be creating a new fan base with Generation Y which may not know a thing about a lot of these films.

Yes I know that a lot of the films that were shown on USA UP ALL NIGHT can be bought on VHS and DVD, but it is not the same without Rhonda or Gilbert hosting the show and making fun of the movies that they are airing. You might have given up on USA UP ALL NIGHT, but I have not though.

Rob.
Far as I know, the RHONDA TV channel closed on ROKU. It had many technical problems, so I imagine that is why. I hope they will revive it one day.

WhiffleBallBat what about Getting Lucky? That is one of the best if not the best Troma movie ever made, and it came out in 1990.

fists,
Well yeah, up until the early 90's TROMA was decent.
But did you see Poultrygeist? It's a mess.
One horror movie I love is "Night Train To Terror" from the 80's and it has a real TROMA atmosphere in it. Not sure if TROMA had any valid association with this movie, but I recommend checking it out if you are a fan of TROMA.
