I really didn't like "The Toxic Avenger" (yet another remake coming), not because of the gore involved, that was sweet. I just thought it was way stupid to make Toxie into some boy scout do-gooder. It appeared like Troma was just trying to cover up their tracks after so many controversial parts like when the kid got ran over by thugs.
I would have loved it if they made Toxie an anti-hero, a sort of demented version of Snake Plissken, instead of what he was. This is why I hate Troma, they always add in this fake moral junk so no one will sue them. "Mother's Day" is no exception.
But yes, they do fit in on the UAN list, so I definitely had fun watching Troma films with Rhonda and Gilbert relief involved.
