> I watched the show to see how far it would go and the whole damn show is staged now. When did this happen?
I catch the show once every six months or so if I am bored late at night. It's a train wreck every time, but it's amusing for a half hour.
No, they aren't even trying very hard. I just watched one where a girlfriend breaks in a guy playing poker at a strip club. If you freeze frame the action, you can see that the "poker table" was actually a cardboard blackjack table with a deck of cards and random piles of chips on it. There was no poker game, those were just props for the cameras.
And, every "showdown" I've ever seen is at a location that doesn't really make sense. This one was at a local strip club. There is no way that the strip club owners would allow all those cameras in without a big-time payout ahead-of time. That's why Security never tries to stop them, never tries to throw them out, and never has their faces blurred. All of the paperwork is done before the cameras roll.
Another location was on a "beach" by a lake. The cheating couple brought a blanket and laid it out near the lake, in a dirt parking lot. like they were ready for a day at the beach. It was obviously chilly, as there was no one else at the lake and everyone except the cheaters was wearing sweats and jackets.
