I really liked the movie until ... (spoilers)

...The stupid zombies. I liked the idea of him not being able to change the past, and being frustrated by it. That's a bit of a different take than Butterfly Effect, Groundhog Day and Back to the Future.

The not being able to change the past bit wasn't in the book.
