I think Marty Mcfly did a better Job then Alex

see let me try to make it clear we all know this film he made a machine to try and save Emma. But i think Marty did a better Job because when Doc Brown was killed in the first timeline by the Libyans he was carful not to make things more words and did a good job. Marty's actions were more understating time travel and was good at hiding the secret identity he was there son and other Stuff and in the new Timeline Doc did it right he was saved bad guys went to jail. As for Alex he should have known better what to do in stead of going so far for a answer. We as normal people do our own time travel on our selves like if we did DWI and other stuff we stop our selves from repeating that time line. So as you can see Alex should have thought more different even he did become a husband and a father to the boy but if he really loved Emma he should have thought all those times over 4 years "If this works were will she be safe when i get the flowers" he should have been doing better research on New York 1903's streets and places while building the machine. Any one see what i am saying?
