You must be a musician. :-) I noticed the same exact thing when they tribal music starts 800,000 years into the future. I think Cameron watched it, loved the music and wanted the same type of thing in his Avatar movie.

James Cameron didn't write the music for Avatar. He only wrote the alien sex scene. James Horner wrote the score for Avatar.
