She worked for Bill and was a witness to what happened but she was a non combatant. Everyone else gets a quick death but why leave her maimed?

It's been a while since I have watched the film but from what I remember she was on her phone callously chatting away whilst the Bride was having her child's life beaten out of her (or so she thinks at that point). She is also shows not one ounce of remorse or respect, I was quite satisfied with what Bea did to her.
sharePlus I think her ringtone and laugh just pissed the bride off. So she was like 'yeah, you too'.
shareAnother thing to ask...after The Bride cuts off Sofie's arm, there's a long time and a lot of sword fighting going on up until O-Ren dies. Why doesn't Sofie pick up her arm and get to a hospital? She's obviously coherent after Crazy 88 were beaten. She had plenty of time to get out of there and possibly have her arm reattached.
shareAlso, during that long period, how did she not bleed to death? (Or did I miss a quick tourniquet scene?). I was genuinely surprised that she was still alive for The Bride to interrogate at the end.
