I love how that part eventually segues into an actual game with Jorma Kaukonen's "Embryonic Journey" playing in the background (I couldn't find a YouTube video that contained this, though).

I never threw nearly as hard as Jim Morris did, but I think being able to throw a baseball 90+ mph has to be one of life's greatest gifts. I played organized baseball from ages 6 to 20 and, while I never came close to playing pro ball or throwing 90+ mph (I topped out in the low 80s), I was a pitcher and had so much fun doing it (until the end, when I got rocked more often than not! 😀). But I enjoyed watching this movie when I first saw it about 20 years ago and I thought that this part was very well done.
