Whats up with the disappearing nuns at the end?
He gives his dad a ball, then he kisses his super sexy wife, they show his uniform in the high school trophy display, then...2 nuns vanish in the desert?
can anyone explain.
yea, in the beginning of the movie they tell this story about a guy that wanted to drill oil in texas but he didn't have an money so these two nuns gave him the money and went back, told their priest and he said it was a waste of money but if they really wanted to they should bless it with rose petals. it's the same spot where you see him as a kid grinding his foot in the dirt and then it changes to dennis quaid grinding his foot in the dirt. its the story when he's a kid and he goes into the shop to look for socks and then guy tells him about the story about baseball that everyone knows in the town. hope that helped. hope it didnt confuse you.
