Does any body know if Dennis Quaid is actually a lefty. I noticed that sometimes his throwing was a little awkword, maybe he's right handed. If he is, that was a good job throwing left handed.

I dunno...did he throw lefty as the QB in "Any Given Sunday"?
I do not recall.
Some movies, they've had an actor who was right handed wear clothing that is reversed, and the film is later reversed to look right. They did that in "Pride of the Yankees" and a couple others, as I recall.

Yes he is naturally left handed. He never pitched before filming the movie. Former MLB pitcher Jim Gott helped him with his delivery.

Dennis Quaid is left handed but the kid who plays him at the biging Trevor morgan is right handed and learned to pitch left for the movie.

I don't know whether he is generally right or left handed, but I've played golf with him and I can tell you that he definitely plays golf right-handed; that said, alot of left-handed people learn to play golf right handed because as kids all they have available to them are right-handed clubs. Regardless, he's a damned good golfer (not to mention a really fun, down-to-earth guy).
