One of the best baseball movies!

Anybody who has ever played baseball in their life, especially those who play beyond high school, cannot disagree that it is one of the best stories told. The beautiful part is that it is true. Yes, I agree that it does run slow at points, but it is a story of somebody's life. Can you honestly say every important moment in YOUR life was nail-biting and filled with action. I have never been more fascinated and motivated by a story than from this one. Once again, any person who has ever respected the game of baseball must respect this movie, it is only natural.

Its a great movie, I agree....but theres no way that its better than the Sandlot...now that movie is the best baseball movie in the world.

The Sandlot is good and so is the Rookie...but nothing comes close to A League of Their Own...OMGITSSUCHAGREATMOVIE.

I say it's about the worst baseball movie ever made since so much of the story was not true and made the subject to be something he was not. Respecting the game has nothing to do with casting an opinion of this flick.

I love this movie! It's in my top 20 favorite movies ever.

Why is it only 6.9?
