Good Ol' Dennis Quaid

I don't even know why am posting this unless any Dennis fans wanna read this. Anyway, I was an extra on The Rookie when it was filmed at the Ballpark in Arlington. We gave Dennis a hard time, you know, just joking around with him, and he really is a nice guy. We made jokes like I loved you in Innerspace or Jaws 3-D and we'd say stuff like "you brother Randy is cooler", and he would just laugh it off and smile at us. This one time he even pretended to give us the finger while he had his glove on. Anyway, he is a very nice guy, a great actor, and I couldn't be happier that in the last few years his career has seemed to get back on a good track with him having both box office and critical hits. Does everyone else like Dennis Quaid this much?

Wow, Denny sounds like a great guy.

I wish I could meet him.

I once met Danny Glover on the set of Switchback, but it was a scene without Dennis Quaid... man I wish I coulda met Dennis Quaid.

Well... here's to Dennis Quaid. Well, I'm going to go watch The Day After Tomorrow.

Did you try and get Danny Glover to say "Riiiiiggs!" once? Because that's what I would have done.

Wonderful actor. Few could have carried a movie like this which was bone-thin plot-wise. He made it interesting.

Music to drown by. Now I know I'm in First Class.

Dennis Quaid does seem like a really really nice guy in real life. I think he has a GREAT smile, and he works it really well in the movie. I would love to meet him too.
Great movie.

Both him and brother Randy seem down to earth, I've enjoyed both in several films, Randy can do comedy like few actors. You should check out a very young Randy in "The Last Detail" with Jack Nicholson.
