Whe Frank and Brenda were in the corner room and the money floated out under the door was that a nod to Forrest Gump?

I don't understand how that was a nod to Forrest Gump. It's been a while since I saw that movie, would you care to elaborate your theory, Sir?

It was that floating feather scene in the start and end of the movie that I was referring to.

no, it was the scene where tom hanks is running at the airport that was a nod to forrest gump.

Yes it was definitely a nod to the feather in Forrest Gump, but it also made it onto the "MovieMistakes.com" list (and the IMDB Goofs) because it was very calm outside at the party.
